ENGINE 2
These photos show our 2023 fire engine, which is the first due engine from station 2 in Pinardville. This vehicle helps our firefighters respond quickly and effectively to many different types of emergencies.
Firefighting Strength
A 1,500 gallon-per-minute pump provides strong water flow to fight fires.
A 1,000-gallon water tank allows crews to start working right away, even without a hydrant.
Foam equipment is on board to improve the effectiveness of water and extinguish fuel fires that water alone cannot control.
Rescue Tools
The fire engine carries extrication and stabilization equipment, which allows firefighters to safely free people entrapped from serious motor vehicle collisions or other incidents.
This fire engine carries a rescue litter used to carry patients over difficult terrain such as riverbanks, steep embankments, uneven terrain, and over structural debris.
Hazard Response
It is equipped with first-line hazardous materials equipment so crews can assess the situation, evacuate people, and mitigate basic chemical spills or other dangerous situations.
This truck is more than just a fire engine, it is a tool that helps us protect our community in emergencies of all kinds, from fires and hazardous materials events to motor vehicle collisions and other medical calls.
