ENGINE 1

The photos show our 2018 fire truck, a frontline vehicle that helps our firefighters respond quickly and effectively to many different types of emergencies.

  • Firefighting Strength

    • A 1,500 gallon-per-minute pump provides strong water flow to fight fires.

    • A 1,000-gallon water tank allows crews to start working right away, even before hooking up to a hydrant.

    • Foam equipment is on board to help put out fuel and chemical fires that water alone cannot control.

  • Rescue Tools

    • The truck carries vehicle extrication and stabilization equipment, which allows firefighters to safely free and assist people involved in serious accidents.

  • Hazard Response

    • It is equipped with hazardous materials gear so crews can respond quickly to chemical spills or other dangerous situations.

This truck is more than just a fire engine, it is a tool that helps us protect our community in emergencies of all kinds, from fires and accidents to hazardous incidents.
