These photos show our 2020 Ford F250 Fire Prevention Unit. This vehicle is assigned to the Captain for Risk Reduction and Fire Prevention whose office is at station 1 in downtown.
Driver Console
The Driver Console contains controls for emergency lights, sirens, speaker, and two radios. It also contains charging holders for cell phones, portable radios, and a tablet. The tablet provides call information, mapping, pre-plans, known hazards, water supply, and other information.
Equipment
Some emergency equipment that is carried in the vehicle include personal protective equipment, SCBA, first aid kit, AED, rescue task force/ mass casualty coordination equipment, lighting, and more.
This vehicle is used to support fire prevention activities and carry equipment for things such as school and community events, inspections, investigations, and more.
