These photos show our 2023 Ford F250 command car. This vehicle is assigned to the Captain for Training whose office is at station 1 in downtown.
Driver Console
The Driver Console contains controls for emergency lights, sirens, speaker, and two radios. It also contains charging holders for cell phones, portable radios, and a tablet. The tablet provides call information, mapping, pre-plans, known hazards, water supply, and other information.
Equipment
Some emergency equipment that is carried in the vehicle include personal protective equipment, SCBA, first aid kit, AED, rescue task force/ mass casualty coordination equipment, lighting, and more.
This vehicle is used to support a variety of department needs from command and control, incident safety operations, equipment and trailer transportation, and more. This vehicle is also used for incident response and incident logistics such as road closures, hazardous materials equipment, damaged, broken, or soiled/contaminated equipment and more.
