For active-duty personnel looking to transition into a fire, rescue, or healthcare occupation once.
Firefighter/EMT
Minimum for applying:
- Active-Duty Service Member
- Approval of the first field grade commander authorized to impose non-judicial punishment under Article 15 of the UCMJ in the service member's chain of command
- Mandatory components of the DOD Transition Assistance Program (TAP)
- Interest in transitioning to a fire career
AEMT
Minimum for applying:
- Active-Duty Service Member
