The Monthly Roll 

King Bowling Lanes, Friday March 20th

The Monthly Roll is a once-a-month bowling group just for Goffstown residents ages 55 and over. Join us on Friday, March 20th at 11:00 AM for a fun and relaxed morning of bowling, laughter, and community connection. The cost is $10, which includes shoe rental and two games. Whether you’re a seasoned bowler or just in it for the fun, this is a great chance to get out, stay active, and enjoy time with fellow community members. Come roll with us and make some new connections!

Bone Builders

Strengthening Seniors One Class at a Time: Bone Builders is a strength training and balance exercise program to prevent and reverse osteoporosis. This class helps build bone density and improves balance; weights and equipment will be provided. This program is free, and all are encouraged to attend. Program is sponsored by Southern NH Health Services (SNHS).

Dates and Info

  • Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:30 am at the Parks and Recreation Building (155 S Mast Street). 
  • Registration: Drop-In

Pickleball (Indoors)

Whether you know how to play or want to get started for the first time, join us for indoor pickleball.  Program is free. Drop-ins are allowed and encouraged. For the winter, this program takes place insidecthe Parks and Recreation building.

Community Puzzle

Join us for a fun community puzzle challenge at the Parks and Rec building! Stop by anytime Monday through Friday between 9 AM and 3 PM to contribute to the puzzle. Whether you’re a seasoned puzzler or just looking for a relaxing activity, it’s a great way to connect with neighbors and unwind. Come in for a few minutes or stay as long as you’d like — every piece counts! Open to all, no registration required. 

Rail Trail Walks (on pause for winter!)

Every week we’ll take a leisurely stroll on the Goffstown Rail Trail. Distance will be determined by the group each week. Free to participate, on-going as the weather allows!

  • Registration: Encouraged for communication (starting points/cancellations) but not required!

Monthly Activities and Events

Each month the Parks and Recreation department will offer a special event or activity to the people of Goffstown. Past events include bus trips to Parker's Maple Barn, La Belle Lights, NH Fisher Cats, Sunapee Lake Boat Tour, Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad, a Valentine's Day social dance, BBQ in the Park, Luncheon at Pickity Place, and more!

March Bus Trip

Ben's Sugar Shack, Temple, NH

Join us Wednesday March 25th for a fun and delicious trip over to Ben's Sugar Shack in Temple, NH. Trip includes a buffet breakfast, tour of the maple syrup making process, and a trip to the Maple Station Market. This trip is available to Goffstown residents ages 55 and over. The cost is $20 per person, transportation will be provided to Temple via coach bus from Grace Limousine
