Accreditation

The Goffstown Police Department is an internationally accredited agency. The Commission on Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) awarded re-accreditation status to our agency in July 2022.

CALEA has established standards designed to prevent and control crime, increase agency effectiveness and efficiency, increase cooperation and coordination with other agencies, and increase citizen and employee confidence in the goals, objectives, policies, and practices of the agency. CALEA assessors monitor the level of compliance of the Goffstown Police Department every 4 years. The Goffstown Police Department was awarded its 9th Certificate of Advanced Meritorious Accreditation from CALEA.

Communication Supervisor Michelle Provencher is the department's accreditation manager and an assessor for CALEA as well as NNEPAC. If you have questions regarding accreditation you can contact Michelle Provencher.
