Chaplain
Law Enforcement Chaplains provide “round-the-clock” availability, accessibility, & confidentiality. Our primary objectives are two-fold: to support law enforcement families in professional and personal crises assist in serving the local communities they serve and protect in times of crisis and tragedies.

Communications
Public Safety Dispatchers, also known as Communications Specialists, are the vital link between the public and police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical technicians.

D.A.R.E.
Project DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) is a substance use prevention education program designed to equip elementary school children with skills for resisting peer pressure to experiment with tobacco, drugs, and alcohol.

Detectives
Investigations are very labor intensive. Cases require an enormous amount of time and resources. Most complicated cases and all major crimes are handled in this Division, which includes child abuse and neglect, sexual assaults, identity theft, drugs, gambling, burglary, robbery, white-collar and vice crimes.

Legal
The Goffstown Police Department manages adult and juvenile court cases and other legal matters through the Department’s Prosecutor, Captain Daniel Conley.

Patrol
The patrol division is the biggest division in the Goffstown Police Department.

Records
The task of overseeing document flow and retention is assigned to the records division.

School Resource Officer
Currently, there are two School Resource Officers (SROs) in the Goffstown School District: one at the Goffstown Area High School and the other at Mountain View Middle School. The two SROs share responsibilities for the other schools in town and visit them as needed.
