  NHDES has been providing testing of private drinking water wells that are most susceptible to contamination from PFAS. Sampling can be requested using the PFAS Testing for Private Wells Request Form.

Private Wells

The Town of Goffstown requires private well testing for new Certificates of Occupancy or replacement wells, visit Building Department Forms for the Certificates of Occupancy Requirements: Water Quality Ordinance.

It is also recommended that homeowners test their private wells regularly. The NH Department of Environmental Services provides a list of recommended water tests.
